I have a 2003 ford expedition and need to change the spark plugs and wires. How do I do that?

Remove the old ones one by one and install new one. It is not an easy job, a perfect example of Fords idiocy.I have a 2003 ford expedition and need to change the spark plugs and wires. How do I do that?
On the 1999 and later models of the 5.4L V8 you DO NOT have high voltage spark plug wires. The engine have 8 coils mounted directly on top of the spark plugs. You only have to remove one bolt on each of the coils. You then carefully pull them off the spark plugs. Once this is done, you remove the spark plugs and replace them with new ones (be sure to use some anti-seize to make it easier to replace them in the future). You then carefully replace the coils and put the bolts back in place. Be sure not to over tighten the bolts on the coils - you will damage the coils if you over torque them.

The cylinders toward the back of the engine is tricky to get to, but armed with a ratched, two or three extensions and a universal joint, you should be able to get in there.

change one wire at a time matching up the length of each wire. Don't forget to apply the dielectric grease on the inside of the boots. Good LuckI have a 2003 ford expedition and need to change the spark plugs and wires. How do I do that?
you need the manual for this if its the V8 engineI have a 2003 ford expedition and need to change the spark plugs and wires. How do I do that?
